U.S. IT powerhouse ServiceNow has announced its acquisition of Israeli data startup Pyramid Analytics, a move that is set to bolster its ability to integrate advanced analytics and artificial intelligence into operational workflows. The transaction is reportedly valued at several hundred million dollars, underscoring ServiceNow’s commitment to expanding its capabilities through strategic acquisitions.

Pyramid Analytics, founded in 2009 by Omri Kohl, Avi Perez, and Herbet Hochman, offers a unified, AI-driven platform designed for business analytics, data science, and data preparation. Its technology allows business users to ask questions in natural language and receive actionable insights instantly, eliminating lengthy wait times for data teams. With clients such as Kellogg’s, Hallmark, and Deloitte, Pyramid Analytics has established itself as a leader in decision intelligence solutions.

"When Pyramid Analytics’ capabilities are combined with the ServiceNow AI Platform, customers will be able to turn those self-service insights into action - without leaving their workflows. For example, AI-driven insights can automatically surface an issue, open and route a case, recommend the next best actions, and drive resolution across IT and the business - all in one connected workflow", said ServiceNow.

This acquisition comes just two months after ServiceNow’s $7.75 billion acquisition of Israeli cybersecurity firm Armis, marking the company’s second major purchase in a short span of time. The back-to-back deals reflect ServiceNow’s vision of embedding intelligence directly into operational processes, enabling organizations to turn data into meaningful action.

Pyramid Analytics, which has raised $250 million to date from investors such as BlackRock, Sequoia Capital, Viola Growth, and others, employs over 200 people across offices in Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, and Germany. The company’s platform has been lauded for its ability to empower businesses by simplifying and accelerating access to AI-driven insights.

The acquisition is set to strengthen ServiceNow’s position as a leader in transforming workflows with the power of artificial intelligence and advanced data integration. By embedding Pyramid Analytics’ technology into its existing platform, ServiceNow aims to provide organizations with seamless access to actionable insights, ensuring users can make data-driven decisions more efficiently than ever before.
