TOKYO, February 13, 2026 – In a strategic move to bolster its process automation and document management offerings, Ricoh has announced its acquisition of ValueTech, a Chile-based technology company with over 20 years of expertise in digitalization and automation. The acquisition will enhance Ricoh's ability to deliver advanced solutions across Latin America, aligning with its global strategy to foster intelligent workplaces.

ValueTech, established in 2001 by a team of civil engineers, has built a strong reputation in industries such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, pension funds, and telecommunications. The company specializes in cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), forensic document auditing, data protection, and predictive analytics. These tools enhance security, efficiency, and compliance in document-intensive processes, while also reducing operational risks and improving traceability.

According to Ricoh Latin America (Ricoh LATAM), this acquisition is a key step in delivering comprehensive digital transformation solutions to organizations in regulated industries.
